GETTING THE SLIP

A non-clinging slip, half-slip or chemise is an essential item to create a smooth body line under clothes and allow clingy knits to skim over the body. In addition to the slimming slips described in the Shapers section, there are slips made of fabrics with anti-cling, antistatic properties that won't wash out, such as DuPont ANTRON IIIŽ nylon.

SLIP FIT TIPS

Slips go to all lengths to please, and should be chosen with your height and the length of your clothes in mind:
DEMI (D) 16 inches (mid thigh)
SHOR (S) 20 inches (top of kneecap)
AVERAGE (A) 22 inches (mid knee)
FASHION (F) 24 inches (bottom of kneecap)
TT 28 inches (mid calf)
LL 30 inches (lower calf)
FORMAL 37 inches (ankle)
FORMALT 40 inches (tall ankle length)
